Lake Bluff, a small serene Village, is set on a bluff overlooking
Lake Michigan. With a population of over 6,000, Lake Bluff
has a small town atmosphere while offering a multitude of
recreational amenities to its residents. Nine community
parks, including an 18-hole golf course, a Lake Michigan
beach and an Olympic and children's pool are part of the
Village's offerings.
Schools: Elementary students are served by School
District 65 and attend East
Elementary School (K-2), Central Elementary | |
School (3-5) and Lake
Bluff Middle School (6-8). High School District 115 serves the high
school students.
Location: The Village of Lake Bluff
is located 40 miles north of Chicago. Commuter rail service is offered
through the Metra trains located in downtown Lake Bluff. Access to
the Interstate highway is through Route 41 located directly west of
town, or the Edens Expressway (I-94) and the Tri-State Tollway (I-294). |
