The City of Highland Park

The school systems serving Highland Park are North Shore School District 112, consisting of twelve elementary and middle schools, and Highland Park High School, District 113.

Highland Park is located 23 miles north of Chicago.  Transportation routes to Chicago include the Edens Expressway (I-94). Homeowners can catch the Metra train in downtown Highland Park as well as at the Ravinia Metra station.

Parks & Recreation
Throughout the many parks and forest preserve land are bike and walking paths to enjoy.  Highland Park offers beaches and boating, a recreation center, nature center, senior center, golf course and the Hidden Creek Aquatic Center.   Enjoy the music of the Ravinia Festival or stroll the gardens of the adjacent Chicago Botanic Gardens.

Nearby shopping includes the Central Business District, Crossroads, Briergate, North Skokie Highway Corridor, Ravinia Business District, Braeside, Garrity Square, Old Elm and Moraine North Business District.
